Live Zen
is a Zen (Chan) Practice and Meditation Center organized by the China Culture Center.

We holds each week an evening of insight into the teachings and practices of Zen Buddhism. The participants are guided on a journey of self-discovery each week by a Buddhist layman with occasional visits by real Zen Buddhist monks. You will also learn about Zen (Chan in Chinese) through its music, its stories, its art, its rituals and its martial arts.

* Each week we'll discuss how the principles of Zen (Chan) can be applied to calm and enrich our own daily lives.

* In keeping with the meaning of Zen (Chan)¨Cˇ°learning through meditationˇ±- weˇŻll end each weekly meeting with a 40-45-minute meditation session. Our Buddhist guide will teach you the proper meditation techniques and our Zen environment of music, candles and incense will calm your mind and soothe your soul.

And Beyond:
Other activities in the Live Zen Center will include:
* Trip to Buddhist mountains & holy temples
* Stay and study Zen Buddhism in the monasteries
* Interviews with Zen masters and senior monks
* Learn to cook Zen dishes and make Zen tea
....and more
