Cloud Mountain Health Center is designed to meet the needs of those foreigners living in or visiting China who would like to gain a better understanding of their health as viewed through the window of Traditional Chinese medicine, but feel discouraged by the lack of quality service here in China. 

Here at Cloud Mountain Health Center we seek to create a friendly atmosphere where people are free to come and learn more about creating a healthy lifestyle as well as a place to seek help for acute or chronic ailments. At Cloud Mountain Health Center you can avoid the crowds common in hospitals here in China as we provide a quiet and private atmosphere in which to discuss your questions one on one with our health consultant.

Consultation includes pulse assessment, as well as tongue and channel diagnosis to determine exactly what systems in the body are imbalanced.

For those seeking help in resolving particular health problems we allot ample time to thoroughly discuss your case and ascertain the best course of treatment. Private rooms are provided for those who choose to receive acupuncture. If desired our acupuncturist can also provide you with and herbal prescription to address your health issues. In fact a combined acupuncture/herbal treatment is the ideal way to address many chronic ailments, however in most hospitals in China the acupuncture and herbal medicine departments are separate from each other, creating difficulty for those who wish to use both modalities to treat their health issues.  Here at Cloud Mountain Health Center you have the option of using both acupuncture and herbal therapy under the supervision of a single skilled practitioner. Herbal prescriptions can be filled at most traditional pharmacies around Beijing (Tongren Tang is one example) and in some cases the pharmacy can cook the herbs for you for a small additional charge.
