Itinerary

D1  Fly in Datong / Shuozhou
Beijing Participants: Fly into Datong in the morning (Beijing - Datong 07:10-08:10) and have breakfast. 
                              only flight per day in the morning Beijing - Datong - Beijing excpet Thursdays and Saturdays.
Shanghai Participants: 
Only one flight per day three times a week Shanghai - Datong - Shanghai is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. So you have to fly from Shanghai to Datong in the previous evening and stay the night in Datong.

After breakfast, we first head to Yanmenguan Pass and Great Wall and then hike along the wall for an hour and then visit Xinguangwu Cun, a pristine fortress converted village. Lunch and visit Dashuikou Village and stay the night in Shuozhou.

Day 2 Shuozhou / Pianguan /Laoniuwan
We drive to Wanjiazhai Village and take one-hour boat ride along the river to Laoniuwan Valley; lunch in villager’s home and visit Laoniuwan Villge spectacular scenery of Yellow River, Great Wall and cave houses built into loess cliff. Stay the night in local villagers' home (very basic facilities, no private toilet in the room).

Day 3 Pianguan / Datong / Leave Datong
This morning, we drive to the old town of Pianguan and walk around. After lunch and we head back to Shuozhou (1.5hours), we explore Chongfu Temple on the way and then drive anther 2 hours to Datong. Leave Datong.

Beijing travelers: you can take overnight train back to Beijing on next morning 05:10; or stay the night in Datong and fly out next morning on 09:00).
Shanghai Participants: stay the night in Datong and fly to Beijing next morning on 09:00 ,  then fly to Shanghai.

Payment Terms and Conditions

Payment must be received before published deadline to receive corresponding price. Please refer to the following terms and conditions associated with each method of payment:

Payment at office: CCC must receive the amount (Cash or from credit card) before the published deadline to receive corresponding price.

Credit card: If paying by international credit card authorization form (moto form), CCC must receive your form 2 days before the published deadline in order to have time to process it, and for funds to be received on/by the published deadline.(click to view details)

Bank Transfer: CCC now requires that your payment must be transferred into Chinese RMB before you wire your bank transfer. We must receive a copy of the bank transfer receipt before the published deadline in order to guarantee your price.

Last minute booking: CCC cannot guarantee that we will be able to reserve tickets and rooms at this late stage but we will try our best. Thank you for your understanding.

CCC will respond to every email concerning payment immediately. If you do not hear from us this may indicate that we may not have received your email and we would advise you to call us to confirm. We cannot guarantee that we receive every email so the onus is on you to ensure we receive the payment information before the published deadlines. Thank you for your understanding.


CCC services include:

--go by air Beijing-Datong and return by train (soft sleeper)
go by air Shanghai-Datong and fly back to Beijing, then fly to Shanghai.
--2 nights accommodation for Beijing participants (4-star hotel & homestay in Laoniuwan village with clean toilet and shower)
4 nights accommodation for Shanghai participants (three nights in 4-star hotel & one night in Laoniuwan)
--transfers in customary air conditioned coaches
--entrance fee for all sights mentioned in the program
--all sightseeing and transfers with CCC guides & local English-speaking tour guides
--All meals during the trip

If there are less than 10 participants, CCC has the right to cancel the trip.
