Feng Jing Old Towm Trip (Saturday March 18)

Feng Jing Old Town, People' s Commune
and Farmer' s Painting Village

CCC guides you to Feng Jing, one of the four famous Ancient owns (1,500 years) with well-preserved shrines, lanes, old schools, and rivers & bridges; then tour the People¡¯s Commune, a historical site & museum representing the Cultural Revolution Commune, from the Party conference hall, office furnishings to arms and slogans. The day tour ends up with a visit to a village famous for farmer¡¯ arts & crafts, ranging from folk style painting for the kitchen, embroidery to paper-cut.

Price: RMB 280 (includes transportation, lunch, boating fee and all other entrance fee)

Dongbei (Northeast China or Manchurian ) is well known for the fertile land, humorous and straightforward people and generous home-style food. The Manchurian food is very popular now in Beijing with its home-made flavor, big size plate, more simmered and stewed (rather than the oily stir-fried) meat and vegetables. It is also known for some special local products and snack .

CCC will explain the feature of Manchurian food, main menu, recipe and ingredients. A variety of special products and dishes will be sampled.
