New upcoming events 

We are going to have, among others, two new programs starting from January: Dining Out and Book Club

Dining Out

The monthly eating out event does not only provide good opportunity to meet new friends and sample fresh food, but to introduce all various styles of Chinese food and cuisine, history, way of preparation, as well as to recommend some best and new Chinese restaurants in Shanghai. Experts will be on hand for explanation. 

The first two meetings will be on Beijing Style Hot Pot (Jaunary) and Vegetarian and Buddha Dishes (February)


Book Club

At CCC's Book Club, participants are assigned a great book to read (or selected chapters) and then asked to discuss its meanings with other book club members, using their own interpretations. No experts are necessarily there to give lectures. Each time, there will be one member of the Book Club serving as the host and lead the discussion.

Architecture tour this Sunday: check out the Former Juwish Club and other old architecture of Shanghai with expert Mr. Xue.

Date: 7:30pm every third Thursday of the month.No membership fee, free of charge for each meeting.

Other books will be selected by members after the first two book chats.
