Don't miss this unique and interative lecture, where you will enjoy the free-flowing sounds of guqin (zither) and watch a sword show as learning anecdotes of Chinese Xia or Wu Xia, made popular through Chinese novels and Hong Kong martial arts films.

CCC speaker Paul Wang and his wife Zhang Yuan will explore the original image of xia from pre-qin Dynasty days 2500 years ago, and explain how the images relate to brotherhood, the sword, loyalty, martial arts skill, and Chinese obligation.

Venue: China Culture Center, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.
