When we talk about life, our first response is always the memory of the past, or the expectation of the future, but forgets that we are living in every moment of now!
Life is not the experience until now; it is the experience of now. The experience of the past has been part of the experience of now. The life is not to await the future; it is the action of now. The fruit of the future is being planted and plowed now.
In the morning, when we wake up, the first thing is to be aware of “waking up”: the state of mind, the state of body sensation and the state of breathing. This is the start of a new life, the beginning of a whole day.
If we don’t know the state of mind, body and breathing, and their influence to each other, we are not able to understand ourselves and the relation with others deeper. They are the base of all happenings; they are where we start to develop our life into better conditions.
All the happenings in one day should be accompanied by the awareness, which is part of the happenings, but it is independent from any happening at the same time. It is like body and its shadow, no matter what the body does, the shadow will reflect it, but never gets involved.
To live truly is to let life manifest itself, to respect everything and every happening, which are all reflecting the essence of themselves.
