The state of breathing
“Is there breathing” does not just mean “I am still alive”, but to be aware of how you breathe! When you know the state of breathing, you will know the state of you. If the mind is busy, the breathing is in a hurry. If the body is not relaxed, the breathing is tired. When the breathing is blocked by mental stress, breathe in deeply and breathe out the stress. When physical tension causes the breathing to stick, breathe in deeply and breathe out the tension. When you are out of breath in any circumstances, subside the mind and release the body.
Everything is breathing
Look at everything around you, which one is not breathing? Each has its own way to breathe, and all of them breathe with living and dying. When they become old, they become new at the same time. With every inhaling and exhaling, the body is updated, the mind is refreshed, and the breathing empties itself.
It is easy to live with breathing, but seems hard to understand its real taste.
