For most of us, if we can check what occupies our mind, we will find the mind is full of burden and out of breath.
One day as I walked on the street, a boy was passing by. When I looked at his back, this was printed on the cloth: “everything is amazing and nobody is happy”. We are surrounded by all kinds of advertisings, sometimes they come to you by iphone, sometimes they jump out from TV programs, and sometimes they are on the street, but all of them have to pass through the same channel, your mind.
The whole life is like a big gamble, the expectations become the stakes one after another. We expect to have a healthy body, but we don’t want to give up certain tastes, which is harmful to your stomach or liver. We expect to have a peaceful mind, but we keep on the old habit of longing for exciting and instant success and profit. We expect to have a broader career, but we are always reluctant to share with others.
The most challenging stuff is our emotion. It can’t be discharged or killed; it is fused into most of the time of our life. We have to spend too much energy to deal with it. We don’t like emotion, but it is not other than you.
Shall we leave a little space to awareness for a better breathing of mind? It will offer opportunities to take up fewer burdens and live healthier in the moment of now!
