Sometimes, we are afraid of talking about suffering and don’t even want to mention it. We ignore its value because we attach too much to it. When we can keep a little distance from it, that will be the start to appreciating it.
When the headache arouses the suffering, it is arousing you to keep awareness on both the ache and the suffering. The ache is steaming, the mind is streaming. Where does the suffering come from and where does it go?
When the bitter tastes the suffering, it is the opportunity to taste the moments of the bitter and the suffering. The bitter can’t be kept; the suffering is hard to maintain.
When the memory brings the suffering, it is reminding you to keep awareness on how the suffering arises. The memory does not suffer, the mind is not concrete. Where does the suffering hide and where does it stay?
When the emotion traps in the suffering, it is the time to experience the flashes of stress. The emotion can’t be caught; the suffering is hard to be grasped.
The suffering will be a messenger of the ceasing of suffering, only when the mind is beyond the form of suffering.
