The earth is facing great risk now, it is related to every one of us, the whole world is involved
in environmental protection, and all countries are making their efforts to survive from
pollution. But we must understand that the origin of pollution starts from our mind, the
behavior is its extension, and the environment is an outcome. At the same time, the mind and
behavior are part of the environment!
Reduction – To give up the extra
Learn and make a decision to get rid of the “more than enough”, let both nature and ourselves take more breath before becoming exhausted. From the little daily expenses to the big commodities, everything might be a chance to survive us from the over-burden risk.
Purification – To get rid of the attachments
Keeping right mindfulness on everything we see, hear, smell, taste, touch, think and act, let
them be it is what it is, without wearing the glasses of bias. Then you will be surer about what is really happening, and have more confidence on what you should do. It is the way to
save energy and resources.
Transformation – To use the mind wisely with kindness
Everything can be transformed into meaningful cleansing. When you are washing your face, you are recovering the face of your nature. When you are mopping the floor, you are cleaning
the dirt on the mind. When you are having a shower, the afflictions are flushing away at the
same time. When you are taking medicine, it can be also regarded the treatment for the
ceasing of samara. When you are suffering for the pain of sickness, you should wish you can free from the cause of suffering in the future. When you are enjoying the happiness, you should wish that every being can have the cause of happiness…
Everyday, and even every moment, we can clean up ourselves and the world. As a Zen master said, if you can breathe, you can practice. A single peaceful breath we should trust in will bring great tranquility to the universe!
