Everybody has a different world with a different engine; everybody’s world together drives a blending world. The mind is the driver. The “engine” is your motive, but the difference is the motive not only provides impetus, but also can decide the direction. Just like driving a car, there’s single inertia when you try to stop the car. There’s collective inertia when you try to slow down the car, but the cars around you don’t allow you to do so. But the difference is that you can stop a passive motive or change the wrong direction of your mind at any moment you think it’s necessary. Because nobody can really stop your mind!
Everybody has a different world with different energy; everybody’s world together cultivates a blending world. The mind is the cultivator. When you are watching a program or movie of violence, detesting somebody with impatience, cursing with bad words, you are cultivating negative energy. When you are listening to a peaceful melody, forgiving a mistake of someone, comforting with soft words, you are cultivating positive energy. If we put both parts of your heart on the scale, which side is heavier? How much negative energy becomes the obstacle of your life? How much positive energy do you devote to the blending world?
Everybody has a different world with different form; everybody’s world weaves into each other’s to be a blending world. The mind is the weaver. When you are giving a smile, donating blood, taking care of a patient, you are weaving your world and weaving it into the blending world. When you are clinging to a jewel, longing for a gun, being angry with disagreement, you are weaving your world and weaving it into blending world. Then we can understand why this world has either charity and loyalty or utilitarianism and war.
Can you feel the inner and outer contacts with other people and their minds? Are you aware of the interactive transforming between state of mind and things/activities? Can you recognize the dependent arising between daily life and specific event (negative or positive)?
Take care of our mind; it is the base of the world. And nothing is out of it.
