Nine hundred years before Matteo Ricci arrived in China, Nestorian Christians had churches, according to one record, in every province in China. What do we know about this mysterious "Church of the East" and its legacy? How did they come to China, and how is it that they disappeared? What sort of impact did they have? This will be the topic of a talk given by Elyn MacInnis, MDiv. Harvard University, long time China resident and religious scholar.
Venue: China Culture Center, Beijing, China.
