The Moon Lake
Moon Lake (Tenggeli Dalai) is located in the Tengger desert of Inner Mongolia – a two hour drive from Yinchuan. The lake covers an area of three square kilometers and has a history of more than 60 million years. The lake water is a combination of salt and fresh and is swarming with fish and shrimps.  Mallards, common cranes, red geese, swans and Mandarin ducks are common sights in the lake's reed clusters.
