“So, are you a tour operator?”

The answer is no, not really. Although the China Culture Center provides travel services, we like to think that we' re so much more than that. We' re an education organization striving to show others the wonder and diversity of Chinese history and customs. We' re a licensed cultural tourism company that organizes informative, innovative tours to sites in Beijing and throughout China, both well known and off-the-beaten-path. We' re a privately owned, self-sustaining organization; we use our innovative tours and corporate events to fund and support our research and cultural education programs.

Most of all, we' re a community of English speakers who want to introduce you to everything about this country – from Confucius to calligraphy, Genghis Khan to green tea, foot binding to feng shui. We’re an organization for anyone looking for a way to explore China’s past, present, and future.

What We Do

Because culture is the clearest picture into the history and customs of a nation, CCC strives to provide a window into Chinese society. We were the first cultural organization to target foreigners living in Beijing, and since 2000, CCC has become a major trustworthy travel and learning source for expatriates to use for themselves and their visiting families and friends to experience the original China. In addition to a core group of expatriates who frequent our tours, lectures, and classes, more and more independent travelers and second-time visitors choose CCC as well.

Our services fall into three categories:

Guided tours

No one else can show you this side of China – its cities, its mountains and valleys, the rivers of its history, and the diversity of its countryside. Many of our tours and trips feature local university professors or other experts in their fields, and our well-researched itineraries and local connections ensure seamless logistics that allow you to make the most of your time in our beautiful country. From weekly set departures to private group tours, we offer something for everyone – whether you’re here for two weeks or two years.

Classes and events

Together with local experts, CCC delivers insightful talks, seminars, workshops, and discussion forums presented in excellent English covering all aspects of Chinese traditions and culture. We’re adding new programs and activities constantly and welcome suggestions on how we can expand our cultural lineup to better meet our customers' interests.

By combining an authentically Chinese cultural experience with your corporate agenda, CCC’s customized travel services can add value to your company's travel management experiences.
